Responsible for study, design, specification and services of transportation systems (road, rail, airport, seaport), bridges, infrastructure, drainage, underground utilities, hydrology/hydraulics, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, water resources and raw water supply, tunnels, geotechnical design, and other civil engineering works. Under broad direction, supervises and leads a group of engineers.
You will be required to work within an experienced team on the design of major civil engineering structures, in particular bridges, deep basements and cut-and cover tunnels, and major temporary works. Current projects include the design of Crossrail stations, a major railway viaduct in Australia, and the London Cable Car.
