The Chief Onshore Pipelines Engineer within Foster Wheelers Upstream Oil and Gas Group is accountable for the leadership and development of the Onshore Pipeline Engineers and there development. Strong leadership, decision making and influencing skills are required to ensure the delivery of challenging project and client targets. This role is a permanent position based in our Reading offices.
As part of their continued expansion they now require a Chief Engineer to take responsibility for all engineering and technical activity associated with a major international prime contract within the naval systems domain. The Chief Engineer will manage all the technical interfaces between system elements, technical dependencies and engineering risk ensuring that the programme is delivered to the required solution.

You will be responsible for managing a team, focusing on process improvement and re-engineering. The successful Financial Controller will also be responsible for the preparation of a new ERP system implementation across multiple functions of the business, including Finance, HR and payroll.
This is an operational and strategic role. You will be tasked with ensuring the effective management of all finance functions, ensuring all internal audit reports are reviewed and dealt with according to business requirements.
This position is a key technical appointment within Foster Wheelers Oil and Gas Division (OGD). Foster Wheelers OGD group executes projects within the oil & gas industry. The role is key to the Group reporting process and the successful applicant will have an opportunity to regularly deal directly with queries from the Chief Financial Officer. As such the role gives the opportunity to develop a good understanding of all aspects of the Group reporting process and to make a major contribution to the Group Finance Team.
