As Field Sales Manager you will be responsible for the independent channel within the business which includes retailers, wholesalers and discounters. You will be expected to lead, motivate, coach, mentor and develop a large team of Area Sales Managers in order to increase sales and profitability. The independent channel provides significant turnover to the business so this is a vital role within the organisation.
As Sales Director you will be responsible for managing a team of 11 people which includes colleagues at regional sales and national account level. The team is well established and as a result you will mainly need to provide them with focus, direction and genuine leadership. In addition to managing people you will also be expected to manage a couple of key accounts directly, giving you the opportunity to keep a firm understanding of the market.
