Working within the Group IT development team in response to customer requirements, the successful applicant will help to evolve and enhance the current functionality and features available on our in-house DNA-Database module.
You will be predominantly looking after existing clients although will be tasked with new business sales activities too. Sales are typically around £500k and are made with general managers and operations managers of the larger hotel chains; they count some of the world's biggest and best hotel groups amongst their satisfied customer base.
In this role, you will be responsible for converting large Global Corporate deals averaging spends of £30-40 million per annum. Your target market will be global merchants that use secure card payment systems such as hotels chains, fast food chains, grocery chains, restaurant chains, etc.
To lead (or in the case of major transactions support) as directed by a Commercial Development Director the creation, development, negotiation and completion of strategic transactions on behalf of Steria with commercial integrity and within acceptable risk tolerances, leading or supporting the Steria case in any commercial disputes.
You will need to have hospital sales experience, and a proven ability to develop and maintain excellent working-relationships with cardiologists. Excellent communication is essential for this role as you will be interacting with key customers regularly.
