As a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for managing accounts with values in excess of £20m that include some of the UKs largest food and beverage manufacturers. You will support the Sales Director and be expected to manage other people and take responsibility for developing existing accounts and have the vision and determination to open new accounts and drive the business forward.
You will be responsible for developing excellence in manufacturing, engineering, warehousing and logistics capability, be accountable for delivering key strategic factory initiatives and develop a 3 year vision to meet growth expectations.

*Maximising sales in the wholesale and retail arena *Line managing a medium sized team of National account managers and sales co-coordinators *Utilizing social media, and other avenues to maximise sales.
Suitable candidates will need to be from a food or FMCG background that understands project management, account management, category management, procurement, NPI, supply chain, operations and third party manufacturing. You will be a dynamic individual who is of strong character and results driven.
They supply vacuum-packed fresh food products into food service end user accounts and you will be developing new business with accounts then being retained. This is a strategic role for them as this new person will become an integral part of their expansion plans, with excellent prospects for moving into a management position.
As a Senior National Account Manager you will be responsible for managing the Sainsbury and M&S Accounts. You will have full P&L responsibility for these accounts and will be instrumental in delivering sales and profitability targets.
