The Database Administrator's role is to design, install, monitor, maintain, and performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. This individual is also responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.
This will be a technically creative and challenging role, suited to someone who is very strong on Oracle with extensive experience as an Oracle Production DBA (probably circa 7+ years experience, including some of those years in a senior role with responsibilities for example for Oracle configuration and deployment, building clusters, upgrading 10-11g, and ideally someone with some experience of SQL).
