Two desktop support engineers are required for an initial period of 3 months for a client based in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have experience providing support across a 5000+ user base, within an ITIL environment.

The roles within this team are technically demanding and require individuals who are highly focused and motivated. Such members are expected to ensure that all support and operational roles are supported with maximum efficiency and that in doing so, complement the working efficiencies of other technology teams.
You will be responsible for ensuring designs meet H&S standards, liaise with Project Delivery Managers and Cost Managers on long term development plans and create programme to develop and track design activities.
You will be required to manage at times the output of the electrical design team in producing timely designs of onsite power generation schemes from bid stage to commissioning in.
Identifying business opportunities for application/ desktop virtualisation technology and desktop transformation related improvement based on benchmark data and supporting high-level cost benefits analyses
The target will be £400k margin and the average order value is £100k. To be considered for this role you need to have experience of working in the reseller channel and understand desktop/server based computing.
The Premium Support Consultant will be an expert in SAS software with a particular focus in the management, maintenance and support of the SAS Platform.
Experience as a consulting manager responsible for worldwide sales / solutioning to Downstream / Chemicals companies, or has similar background with an international major oil company or as Process or Control Systems Engineer with a process controls systems supplier such as Honeywell, Invensys or ABB.
