You will be working to develop their front office pricing tools which will also include you working with high performance systems that rapidly transfer and process a large volume of critical data.
The group is designing and building the core technology that underpins the architecture and structure of the highly scalable, highly multi-thread and fault tolerant trading systems. You will be working in a flat structure alongside senior technologists who know the Banking industry and know how to build pioneering and award winning trading systems - exposure to the business is encouraged but not mandatory.
The role is a hybrid; part strategy delivery/change, part administration. It ensures that the technical roadmap is being delivered and helps facilitate driving that agenda; effectively driving strategic change for technology.
You will play a lead role in testing and recovery planning for Disaster Recovery. You will be responsible for the deployment and advancement of the firms DR strategies. The preferred candidate will also have a strong technical background including prior experience in a technical area, working closely with infrastructure departments.
The role will be sat within the marketing team and will be responsible for keeping the presentation material consistent with Pimcos messaging and branding. These presentations will be used in the engagement of external clients.
