This is a permanent position for someone with a great track record in Mechanical Design Engineering. Our client primarily use Solidworks and AutoCad to create a wide range of bespoke electro-mechanical products for both commercial and military use. They have a team of eight Design Engineers (Mechanical and Electrical) who you would manage and mentor in this position.
The Materials Manager will own and drive site material metrics, including value and accuracy of inventory, forecast accuracy, ERP health measures and supplier on time delivery. The Materials Manager will also be responsible for driving improvements to accelerate the deployment of the Aerospace SMART initiative, effectively removing barriers and driving desired customer service and financial results.
