Automatic Control and Systems Engineering is one of the largest departments devoted to this subject area in the UK and Europe. We are an internationally leading research department and have a vibrant research culture spanning many aspects of Control and Systems Engineering.
Technically strong, you will have good communication skills and a willingness to find solutions as well as problems. The role will require confidence in making decisions, sometimes under pressure and an understanding of the commercial aspects of your work.

We are currently investing in a strategic appointment designed to enhance and expand our exceptionally strong research and teaching in Information Management or Information Systems and related areas. The appointee will join a vibrant research group and make a strong contribution to core and specialist undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the School, and to supervision of research students.
