The purpose of the role is to grow commercial vehicle business in line with our business strategy from the existing customer portfolio and new customer acquisition within region. Delivery of first class customer account management to commercial vehicle customers within Scotland
In this role, you'll be leading cross functional international groups in evaluating opportunities and risks for our future brands. You'll be developing future brand target product profiles and nurturing brands and the organisation through the development process to prepare for high value launches for both customers, and the business. Ultimately your efforts will maximize value to EU and US physicians, payers and patients allowing the business to maximize sales potential.

In this role, you'll be leading cross functional international groups in evaluating opportunities and risks for our future brands. You'll be developing future brand target product profiles and nurturing brands and the organisation through the development process to prepare for high value launches for both customers, and the business.
To undertake and lead high-quality research in subject area, publish in leading international research journals, vigorously pursue research funding opportunities, actively contribute to teaching, and effectively undertake administration as assigned by the Head of School.
The appointee will provide world-class leadership in a chosen area of research consistent with the research strategy of the Institute/College. S/he will build an internationally competitive research programme, publishing in high impact research papers, and communicating this work at international meetings/symposia.
As part of this role, the successful candidate will undertake assignments covering the delivery of high voltage (up to 400kV) substations and the design/condition assessment of existing substations.
