This is a pivotal role reporting directly into the Managing Director and is a key member of the senior management team. You will be expected to contribute to the development and implementation of the Company strategy for the on-going growth and profitability of the company. This will involve leadership of the organisations marketing, product strategy, communication and business development activities globally, consistently delivering results on time and to budget.
Ideally you will have a scientific or engineering type degree and have sold technical software into markets such as Oil & Gas, High-Tech and Manufacturing type companies, negotiating with Engineering Directors. Ideally you will also have had some exposure to channel sales and understand how the channel works.

THE ROLE The role will be a standard 37hr working week 7:30 - 4:30 Mon to Thurs and until 11:30 Fri and overtime is paid at Time + ½ and typically 5-10hrs per week is available including an occasional Saturday.

The Bids & Proposals Engineer will be responsible for leading the response to tender (RTT) enquiry process. This will include liaison with customers, co-ordinating internal and external resources and manpower from the Engineering, Marketing and Sales teams to create detailed, effective and highly professional proposals.
This position is a key role in the development of the engineering teams across the UK. It has particular focus on capital projects and requires somebody to manage a variety of upgrade and expansion projects both on time and on budget.
