Advise the business and support the Reviewing Actuary in using risk based capital techniques in assessing the risk, reward and capital implications of key business decisions. This will include appraisal of proposed initiatives; use of corporate insurances and efficiency of operational risk controls to support control enhancements.
Duties will include: conducting research of international status, applying for externally funded research grants, enhancing the international profile of the research group, teaching of Actuarial Science at undergraduate and postgraduate level and supervision of research students.
