Groupwide Finance Services are looking for an experienced PMO Manager to join its Project Office team. You will lead a team and provide direction to a strategically orientated project office including define and set standards for business change and projects/programmes/ portfolios, governance, QA, planning, etc.
An experienced senior project manager is required to deliver financial reporting/accounting projects, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.
Responsible for a team of at least 8 staff you will manage the provision of services to the Groupwide Financial Services financial reporting team, including product balance sheets and revenue accounts, regulatory return data and reassurance accounts.
- Direct and define test strategies across the division that ensure appropriate and efficient testing of programmes/projects to deliver operational effectiveness and project benefits. - Manage and control test activity to ensure the effective execution of test, to ensure that programmes/projects meet business goals, regulatory requirements and conform to IT policies and procedures.
The management of projects, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.
Your objective will be to develop and maintain a highly effective and efficient team and to ensure vital specialist knowledge is developed and used to maximum effect. In doing this you will play a crucial role in delivering investment analysis and reporting across all financial metrics (IFRS, EV, Solvency II) and relating to a variety of asset classes, including fixed income, property and derivatives.
