Secondary School Teacher Jobs Based in Guernsey Capita Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a number of schools for qualified secondary school teachers specifically to work within the Guernsey area on a day to day, short and long term basis.
The school is looking for a well qualified and enthusiastic class teacher to work with students with Sensory & Communication needs including Autism and PMLD. The right applicant will require a depth of working knowledge and experience of severe autism and associated communication and behaviour difficulties as well as experience of or a willingness to teach a sensory led curriculum for those with PMLD.
Capita Education Resourcing are proud to be working with The States of Guernsey for various positions and various schools on the Island. We now require a bank of teachers that we can call upon at short notice who are willing to live away from home for various periods arranging from half a term or a full term or sometimes longer.
The organisational arrangement for teaching may vary but will generally be in small group settings supported with a Teaching Assistant. The Link Centre provides support for pupils who are experiencing social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
