DESIGN ENGINEER Our client a major expanding international provider of new age technology services on a global scale is looking to add to its already successful South Wales team A.
As Quality Engineer you will support production with any quality related issues and ensure ongoing compliance with internal and external systems. You will utilise your exposure to FMEA's, APQP and SPC processes to achieve world class quality standards and further assist production in process improvement.
Continuous process improvements R&D support when and where necessary throughout the cooperation. To justify capital & purchased acquisitions in conjunction with the purchasing standards. Responsibility for project managing specific programs, inclusive of vendor assessment and to ensure that all PMP stages are followed where deemed necessary i.
Major involvement with the design and development of new products, in respect of both possible adaptations of current products and of “zero based” concept design Technical support for global sales team in order to provide customers with optimised products specific to their requirements.
Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Interfacing with customers Project management Provide technical support for customers Undertake failure investigations Monitor test equipment and methods Design and develop products to meet customer specification and advise customers on the best design solutions to meet their needs.
Microsoft Infrastructure/Server Build EngineerLocation Newport South WalesContract - Six MonthsA large Security and Defence Company Require a Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer with previous experience of working on large scale integration projects with demonstrable proven track record of the following areas of responsibility:Working knowledge of security principles and considerations for systems that form part of Military systems.
Development of manufacturing processes and procedures. Development of tooling, jigs, fixtures and equipment for production. Liaison with vendors to develop appropriate fixturing, tooling, gauging and test equipment for production Application of lean manufacturing to the production process.
To manage project / technical functions within all areas of the business, to ensure that current and new projects are subject to the project management process and that all within each phase gate are completed and within budget.
Fully manage the sales process with the objective of maximising sales revenue and building long term customer relationships, in conjunction with any regional team members, in your assigned region. Ensure responsiveness to customer requests at all times, even when this may not be directly related to your primary role.
