Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Head of Health and Safety will be lead and direct a small but dedicated team of H&S professionals and, working with Colleges and Professional Services, will develop and promote a strong culture of health and safety throughout the University. Occupational Health (currently organised separately) will also come under the direct control of the Head of Health and Safety.
The purpose of this role is to establish and communicate a positive health and safety culture by assisting with the development of the Ocado Health and Safety policy and ensuring that it is fully implemented within all Operational areas of CFC2. The job holder will ensure that the site achieves full regulatory compliance with regard to its Health and Safety duty of care and will strive to achieve zero accident, incident and near miss through the establishment, deployment, review and audit of the health and safety policies and procedures.

You will be educated to at least Masters level (or equivalent) in health economics, epidemiology, or mathematics, with significant experience of applying economics to healthcare, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consulting industries.
