Working with the finance team, internal business units and various professional service advisors, you will be responsible for: Preparing and assisting in EMEA corporate tax compliance, planning and process improvement.
Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
This role is an opportunity to work within one of the biggest mobile providers in the world. The main focus of this role is to ensure the business remains compliant with tax legislation in global jurisdictions, specifically the EMEA region.
Preparing all required revenue related journal entries for the EMEA region (such as rebate entries, marketing entries, multiple element revenue allocation entries, etc) along with reviewing other entries prepared by other groups impacting the region.
The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of Network Security Monitoring technologies such as Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Protocol Analysers, and Network Forensic tools, allowing for the tuning of IDS signatures/rules to result in an optimally configured solution.
A Proven track record of successful operational financial analysis and commercial analysis within a Blue Chip business, which must be underpinned with strong accounting experience (management and financial accounting)
