Heading up the in store team, your leadership will be crucial. As well as maximizing profit and boosting sales performance, your effective development and deployment of staff will help drive great service and increased engagement across all areas of the store. You'll be a custodian of B&Q values, actively encouraging diversity and communicating a consistent message across the store, area and regional teams, and in all dealings with external suppliers.
You will be responsible for converting the larger Corporate leads arranged by the branches of their Banking partner and creating new business opportunities when possible. Clients will be spending in the range of £5m - £250m per annum. Your target market will be merchants that use secure card payment systems such as hotels chains, retail outlet chains, bar groups, restaurant chains, garages etc.
