Role Summary:The Quality Director leads and directs the quality function within the Motor Drives Systems ValueStream leading improvement in our New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and managing the Quality Management System to ensure the highest quality products reach our customers.
• Commercial / contractual negotiation, seeking approval for commercial proposals from the Goodrich executive team as required.• Assistance in production of all types of contractual documents from standard confidentiality agreements to full project agreements.
Job Description Summary: Primary responsibility to ensure the effective management of this section of the Airbus module, key tasks are focused on daily targets through visual management, site Lean Maturity tasks, EHS responsibility, internal customer satisfaction through acceptance of delivery targets and Perfect Quality initiatives.
The Motor Drives ValueStream supports development from initial business win, through initial design to product qualification. Upon qualification the business needs to support a rapid growth in manufacturing output.This position supports the Manufacturing function to ensure that these products are designed from the outset taking full countenance of all manufacturing requirements.
This role will work within the site and Services CI teams to facilitate the delivery of Strategic Plan objectives through driving the Lean Journey and supporting the Three Circles Culture within the ECEPS Services functions within Electrical Power Systems (EPS) at Pitstone and the extended Supply Chain.
