We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Design Team. You will be responsible for the engineering design of highways schemes, drainage and sustainable drainage systems, earthworks design and analysis and associated civil infrastricture.
You will be responsible for elemental and structural designs required in order to allow the production of drawings for construction purposes. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management, planning and control of projects reporting directly a Project Engineer.
Working from our office in Nottingham you will evaluate and assess waste management systems and technologies, undertaking audits of systems and facilities. You will identify and develop business opportunities (including proposal preparation) in the fields of waste technology, starategy, policy and resource efficiency.
You will work with both internal and external clients on a wide range of building acoustics projects, and lead the acoustic input. Projects will mainly be based in the UK focusing on midlands and north, however there may be the need to visit sites out of the region and work away from home for short periods, including overseas.
As a Senior Geophysicist in our Nottingham office you will undertake, manage and lead geophysical investigations of individual sites and/or linear road/rail assets both in the UK and Abroad. This role will see you involved with the collection and interpretation of geophysical data as well as the management if projects and less experienced team members.
Working from our office in Nottingham you will prepare environmental permit applications and contribute to EIAs including undertaking risk assessments (landfill gas and hydrogeological)and H1 and BAT assessments. You will also carry out analysis relating to waste policy and strategy and supervise junior team members.
As a Senior Engineer you will work on nuclear projects in support of our multi-million pound 15yr Decommissioning Framework and profesional services projects in support of our 3yr County Council Framework.
