The successful candidate will have a strong track record of tribunal advocacy and the preparation of Employment Tribunal claims. As one of the lead advocates you will be required to focus on Employment Tribunal advocacy and in particular the complex and high value claims the team undertake.
As a Commercial Lawyer working within the Secondment Team of this leading law firm, you will handle major projects for a number of the firms largest clients.
Working within the Birmingham office, you will be expected to provide patient related health law advice and services to a range of healthcare and clinical negligence clients, and in particular acting for the NHS LA.

Reporting directly to the Board, you will act as the principal legal adviser for the business. Dealing with all commercial, corporate, employment, litigation and compliance issues that arise within the group, you will manage a team of two.
You will be a qualified solicitor of a minimum 6 years' PQE who can demonstrate at interview a tangible client following within a dispute resolution environment; anywhere from property disputes and contractual disputes to insolvency and contentious probate.
The successful candidate will need to have expertise and interest in both contentious and non-contentious work, and have a background within the Construction market gained from a leading regional or City practice.
The type of work undertaken is varied and includes advisory, tribunal, and transactional projects. You will also be expected to become involved in the business development activities, utilising and developing your own network of contacts.
