Their Family team deals with matrimonial issues, disputes between parents in relation to their children, financial arrangements between separating adults (whether married or not), pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements and domestic abuse.
The work will involve the full spectrum of private client work: wills, trusts, tax and probate. Serving the local community, you will be building up strong relationships with current clients, as well as carrying out business development to keep up a steady stream of work.

You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 5 PQE and relevant commercial experience, having trained at a top law firm and with excellent academics. You will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex and high value commercial contracts and have strong commercial awareness, along with an advanced understanding of legal risk.
We are currently looking for a highly proficient employment lawyer with excellent writing skills to join the IDS Brief team. The successful candidate will play a key role in writing for the well-respected journal, IDS Employment Law Brief, and IDS Employment Law Handbooks and Guides.

Your key responsibilities will be to establish and maintain governance structure to ensure compliance with privacy and data protection laws. You will also be responsible for providing legal advice and support to Regional Counsel and Director of Legal EMEA in all matters in relation to data privacy and e-commerce.

We look for excellent academics coupled with evidence of good quality training and EU/competition experience gained from one of the UK's leading law firms. A desire to build on our excellent client base and existing practice will be important as is a proven ability to win new business and a following, depending on qualification.
All candidates will need to have a solid background in non-contentious construction work, probably gained at a City Firm with a specialist construction or projects group, or at an overseas common law practice with a similar highly regarded profile.
You will have a detailed understanding of all aspects of IP law and have a broad sweep of contentious and non contentious IP experience. You will also have to demonstrate an aptitude for business development and networking with an ability to attract and retain high level clients.
This is a great opportunity to undertake a broad range of contentious and non contentious employment law matters including restrictive covenants, unfair dismissal, compromise agreements, discrimination, redundancy, exit packages, staff handbooks, contracts and service agreements.
You will be responsible for leading the business on day to day commercial activities as well as providing expert risk mitigation advice on EU competition law and anti-trust issues, experience of matters regarding article 82 are a must.
