This position is responsible for developing and implementing the supplier quality and development strategy for the assigned plant. Provides leadership and guidance for subordinates in analyzing, measuring, and improving supplier performance. Works closely with suppliers on training and development opportunities.
Reporting to the Operations Director, this person will lead the delivery of manufacturing excellence and sustain the necessary performance in quality, cost, delivery and safety through the development and motivation of people, the effective introduction and use of manufacturing resources and the implementation of appropriate planning and control systems.
