The role of the Project Engineer is understand key train system performance and cost drivers, managing activities from problem identification, through root cause analysis to development of a solution for implementation into the Business.
You will be responsible for developing "Concept & Detailed" installation designs for new and existing Rail Vehicles as specified by customer requirements. In addition to your responsibilities as a manager in the PII team, you will also be a Key Member of a "Multi-disciplined" Engineering team across the business, consisting of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Vehicle Design Engineers, Vehicle Engineers, Mechanical, Systems, and Design Assurance Engineers.
