We are looking for a Unix Systems Engineer to join our Operations and Infrastructure team. The Unix Engineer will support equipment running both commercial and open source versions of Unix and Linux which includes AIX, Solaris, Redhat and Debian as well as appliance based systems such as NetApp or F5.

As the Citrix Architect, you will be responsible for leading the technical elements of pre-sales responses and hosting customer strategy meetings, including presenting solutions from a commercial and business perspective. You will also complete technical designs and technically manage the design and implementation of large scale solutions for customers.
The successful candidate will join the Data Warehousing and BI team as they begin to roll out a huge number of new projects, including new ETL technologies and processes, new Kimball method data marts and the re-design and re-development of their Oracle databases and warehouses.
You must have experience in working in a similar role beforehand, and be able to understand security from a people, operational and technological perspective. You will have experience of leading the design of security solutions from the ground up and experience of owning the delivery of security solutions within complex programmes.
In this role you will gain the opportunity to develop your existing skills and gain exposure to new technologies, working with like-minded people towards a common goal: to design implement.
With plenty of second line Transmission Network Operations experience on Ericsson and Nortel equipment, youll be no stranger to DWDN and Preside NMS.
Programme is to overhaul and upgrade the back-office network infrastructure across the company estate. This project is focused on managing the network through transformation.
Youll come from a similar high profile design role in a telecoms background, so youll have plenty of experience of delivering complex technical solutions in a diverse environment.
As the Domain Expert for the IT Customer Channels team, itll be down to you to work with and across our design teams to deliver high-quality, configurable technical solutions for our contact centres.
