We are looking for a research-active Lecturer/Senior Lecturer who will take a pro-active role in enhancing the School's reputation for high quality and innovative teaching and research in the area of Finance/Corporate Finance.
This is a unique opportunity for a talented development professional to contribute at a senior level to one of the country's top 10 Russell Group Universities. Working closely with the Vice-Chancellor and reporting to the Registrar and Secretary, this role will be pivotal in putting philanthropy at the heart of the University.
The appointee will be the Head of Design within the AMRC Design Prototype and Test Centre (DPTC). The AMRC's DPTC will be a state-of-the-art facility which will house a multi-disciplinary team of around 40 engineers and technicians.
The successful candidate will fulfill the role of Head of Department and will have substantial experience and expertise in academic leadership and management, with a clear vision of the future of the discipline, and how the Department might move forward to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities.
We are currently investing in a strategic appointment designed to enhance and expand our exceptionally strong research and teaching in Information Management or Information Systems and related areas. The appointee will join a vibrant research group and make a strong contribution to core and specialist undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the School, and to supervision of research students.
We are interested in candidates who will engage in all aspects of academic life, by prioritising their research whilst also delivering high quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students. As recognised subject leaders, the appointed candidates will strengthen our existing activities, whilst at the same time developing new and innovative areas of world-leading research.
Our internationally recognised success affords us the opportunity to invest in academic recruitment, and we are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to the positions of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering (with a speciality in Nano scale engineering).
You will be an outstanding individual with a track record of research in any area of control and systems engineering. With the ability to strengthen our existing activity, you will also develop world-leading research to consolidate and expand our current portfolio.
