My client is looking for a Head of Service / Service Director / Senior Service Delivery Manager to to lead the Service Delivery Offerings for an end client. Within the current contract the offerings are Service Desk, Engineering Services and Infrastructure Development and Support. The role will require strong leadership skills as well as in depth knowledge and understanding of Service Management and performance.
Significant strategic investment over the coming years, in our infrastructure and especially in research leadership, will ensure that we meet our ambitious plans for continuing growth at Heriot-Watts international campuses in Edinburgh, Galashiels, Orkney and Dubai.

Responsible for the solution architecture for all initiatives on the Account. As such the role spans new business, programme delivery and service delivery. Assist the client in understanding and translating business need/drivers/priorities/strategy into a client IT vision/strategy.
As well as directing the delivery of service through commercial strategic decisions you must be able to demonstrate an ability in shaping an operation through managing the output, full P&L and Capex budgetary responsibility, process improvement and ultimately implement new processes in order to drive efficiency, accuracy and ROI.
In response to a requirement to align PCI expansion with Business growth, PID requires a manager to build and develop a new Implementation Team in Edinburgh a strategic location for EMEA Business Operations.
You will ideally have come from within an operational delivery role where you have been responsible for client delivery, operational effectiveness, P&L accountability, Commercial Contract and SLA Management and ideally have managed a multi-site operation.
