The INSIGNEO Institute on Biomedical Imaging and Modelling is a collaborative initiative between the Faculty of Engineering (Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science) and the Faculty of Medicine (Departments of Cardiovascular Sciences and Human Metabolism) at the University of Sheffield and the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Trust in collaboration with Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona.
You will be responsible for the Management of Expediting related budgets, to include project shipping spend budgets (i.e. Freight Forwarder related costs) and staff budgets for Shipping personnel to ensure that Logistics meets or betters such budgets

The role will be to review and analyse enquiries from customers, produce mechanical calculations and generate costings, prepare commercial proposals together with supporting the tendering & bid process, produce manufacturing proposal drawings working with production personnel (and sub-contractors) whilst giving support to sales (internally & externally).
Support and facilitate the development, maintenance and implementation of crisis and continuity management and emergency response (CCM/ER) plans; the development and conduct of CCM/ER exercises; assurance of trained CCM/ER personnel; identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities; and, audits of emergency response equipment.
