The Operations Manager will be responsible for maximising sales performance, by working closely with their Branch Manager colleagues and the Product Manager on areas such as Merchandising, product performance etc. This will also entail a project on developing the showroom business throughout the branch network. In addition to this, the role will be responsible for delivering efficiencies and common procedures across the business, which will include such things as the annual stocktake.
This role will require involvement in a number of areas of the business whilst undertaking responsibility for multiple company-wide projects such as the development and implementation of an on-line trading ability and the evaluation (and eventual replacement) of the current trading platform. The successful candidate will play a significant role in future branch development, together with maintaining and upgrading the current property portfolio.
