Ensure optimum inventory levels across a number of categories to ensure availability while ensuring high stock turns and reducing working capital through best practice to achieve excellent service levels.
*Strategic day to day management of the engineering function which will include Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) *Continuous improvement / Capital Investment Projects *Handling the engineering budget *Developing the engineering team *Direct reports will be from the senior engineer on each site.
Your key accountabilities will include: managing the Traincrew cancellation budget for the area, ensuring areas for improvement are identified, proposed and implemented; managing and controlling the rostering interface to Crewplan; managing short term changes to the plan; overseeing the preparation and management of links and leave rosters.
