As the Technical Lead the Performance Manager will be expected to be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, ideally with Chartered Status, or willing to work towards Chartership. Candidates will be able to demonstrate significant experience and technical knowledge in the Maintenance and Operations of equipment across Coal Fired Power Stations, including the Analysis of Plant Performance and contribution towards Process Improvements.
You will be responsible for a large team of qualified Chemical Engineers at various levels and with some responsibility for graduate intake, implementing site equipment and process strategy and driving through improvement and change across site operations, setting team work and overseeing personnel development in the department.
