Heading up the in store team, your leadership will be crucial. As well as maximizing profit and boosting sales performance, your effective development and deployment of staff will help drive great service and increased engagement across all areas of the store. You'll be a custodian of B&Q values, actively encouraging diversity and communicating a consistent message across the store, area and regional teams, and in all dealings with external suppliers.
The main responsibilities of the role are to manage the online search and cross sell/up-sell experience for each product category within company's brands, using tools and personalization software. You will utilise data from multiple sources, provide recommendation to B&M on the best practice approach in merchandising to optimise KPI's (e.g. search-to-basket conversion funnel, accelerate cross-sell and upsell sales, and deliver product level landing page experience that delights customers.
