The Project Manager (PM) will lead the delivery of a Project or Portfolio of Projects for signalling systems and train control equipment at a cumulative sales value of £10m-£15m per annum. Contributes to the overall Project Portfolio Management at regional level. The Project Manager will be required to work in various locations on a full or part time basis, dependent on the portfolio requirements of the business.

The Project Manager will operate at AVP level and will gain exposure across the business leading multiple projects within the Bank's high profile Change Programme. As such the applicant must have proven experience as a Project Manager within the Financial Services, holding a strong focus on change.
In short, you will lead the delivery of a number of systems projects from beginning to end, predominantly in the Midlands Area, so some regular travel will be expected. Making sure these projects are completed to the agreed timescales and budget, whilst delivering the maximum margin is your target.
As the SAP Project Manager you will be responsible for the management of the multiple large scale SAP projects. You will work closely with the different business units and technology teams to ensure the projects are fully chartered, planned and executed.
* Lead the business /project proposals, ensuring alignment with business strategy * Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders to influence direction of the project to meet milestones * Use the established group project methodologies to control, manage and monitor project timescales and budgets, escalating as appropriate to overcome delays, difficulties or cost over-runs.

The successful applicant will be expected to ensure that all project elements required are planned, captured, scoped, priced, negotiated and delivered efficiently and effectively and in a compliant manner. Project responsibility for delivery of benefits to the bottom line, typically in excess of £500k p.
