Reporting to the Regional Engineering Manager the Principal Project Engineer (PPE) will oversee the project engineering on all projects within an office. The PPE provides project engineering team leadership to ensure projects are to the required quality and safety standards and to project timescales. The PPE allocates work packages to the Work Package Managers who will be responsible for delivery.
As part of this role, the successful candidate will undertake assignments covering the delivery of high voltage (up to 400kV) substations and the design/condition assessment of existing substations. Primary responsibility will be to interface with the client and lead multi disciplined teams to ensure the safe delivery of the project

As a result our project managers need to be able to work with, and lead, project teams that are local to them, or geographically disparate. We need project managers who are capable of managing a variety of project types and sizes, with the desire to deliver project management excellence.
In order to be considered, candidates will need to have demonstrable planning experience using P6 software, this experience will have ideally come within the rail sector. Multi disciplined rail experience will be strongly preferred, i.
