Responsible for procurement of mechanical standard parts (fasteners, bearings, seals, etc.) and other mechanical items as required, at best possible price, delivery and quality with the purpose of maximising operational efficiency whilst contributing to company savings targets.
The overall purpose of this role is to locate, develop and maintain reliable sources of supply required for the continuous business operations consistent with securing the best commercial terms. The role involves negotiating and preparing supply agreements, working closely with current and new suppliers, developing supplier relationships to ensure delivery of value to the business.
