My clients based in Essex are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer - Optics / Photonics. This role is commutable from Harlow, Basildon, Chelmsford, Southend, Colchester. My client is part of a group of six companies which has been selling to the optoelectronic community for over 25 years.
You will be researching and contacting new potential customers as well as keeping track of existing opportunities, mostly within the UK and Republic of Ireland. As you will be seeking to promote optoelectronic components sales to technical engineers you will need to establish an engineering rapport and demonstrate sound selling expertise.

To deliver key project variables related to all aspects of Proposals and prequals. Ensuring that the central proposals department supports the corporate business objectives in line with company standards.
Lead, manage and coach the Recruitment, Mobilisation and associated administration teams to ensure that the appropriate skills and competence levels are in place to deliver an effective service to customer.
Responsible for interfacing with the client and allocating project resources; developing the project plan; and ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and with acceptable HSEQ standards.
As an Account Manager, you will sit within the Major Accounts Sales team working with a defined set of accounts. The accounts have been customers of QA for a number of years and your role will be to look after existing business opportunities whilst proactively identifying new areas of opportunity.
You will be part of a successful, highly driven and professional sales organisation. Your role will be primarily to drive and expose new business opportunities and also to maintain and develop accounts by building on the existing relationships.
You will have excellent operational and consulting experience, with sound knowledge and a proven track record in Enterprise Systems & technologies as listed below. With a passion, hunger and thirst to deliver quality training to the market, you will have excellent customer facing, interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently.
