We seek an individual with expertise in Strategic Management with an ability to teach Managerial Economics, along with a distinguished publication record, excellent performance in winning external research funding, and evidence of providing intellectual direction for research within the Management School's research domain. In line with the University of Sheffield's professorial expectations, the post-holder will be expected to contribute strongly to teaching and academic leadership.
The University now seeks to appoint a new Pro Vice-Chancellor to provide strategic leadership across this large Faculty. Reporting directly into the Vice-Chancellor, the post holder will also help deliver the Universitys corporate vision and plan during a time of unprecedented external change. As such, a proven track record in academic leadership and management at a senior level will be critical, as will experience of business planning and resource allocation alongside a proven ability to engage effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
