Provides functional direction and/or supervision to all contracts personnel assigned to a project or office, in accordance with applicable directives, management instructions, procedures and functional guidelines. Provides functional guidance on issues related to contracts, and coordinates functional activities with other functional managers.
·Overall responsibility for the operational management of all departments within the contract ·Financial and commercial responsibility and accountability for all services. ·Ensure all departments provide effective delivery of services within the requirements of the agreed service levels.

The Project Management and PMO department of our client consists of two functions, Delivery Assurance - ensuring successful project delivery and Portfolio Management Office (PMO) - providing management information, administration services and coaching, training and support on the various templates, processes, tools and guidelines used in delivery of change including project management.
The Business Analyst should have strong investment management experience and excellent knowledge of front office, fixed income, equity and derivative instruments. Research and Charles River experience is essential for this role.
The portal technology utilized is Liferay portal technology, JAVA / J2EE technology stack, OpenSSO, SAML2. Candidates ideally should have some experience of portal technology (this does not have to be Liferay, could be IBM Websphere portal for example), however experience of supporting J2EE technology stack essential.
Key skills: proven background as a Project Manager within a banking environment, matrix management, off-shore team management, experience on systems integration / messaging projects (Technical environment: JAVA, Oracle Weblogic, MQ series *note: technical understanding of these products is not needed).
