Ideally you will be a Chartered Engineer with relevant Engineering experience and qualifications, with experience covering jacket and topside analysis, design and fabrication. Specifically, you will need to have acquired an in-depth understanding of design codes (e.g. AISC, API-RP2A WSD and LRFD) and their development; project management and coordination capabilities; have experience in jacket analysis linear and non-linear software (SACS and USFOS preferred) and have experience in topsides analysis linear software (STAAD PRO preferred).
The role will involve sales of structural items and engineering support services to Architectural and Structural consultants, companies and contractors, visiting the customer base around the UK and overseas and the development of marketing and sales strategies to ensure increased sales in specific market sectors. You will follow-up and expedite quotations and tender documentation, negotiate pricing and terms and manage all sales activity within your vertical market.
