Ideally you will be a Chartered Engineer with relevant Engineering experience and qualifications, with experience covering jacket and topside analysis, design and fabrication. Specifically, you will need to have acquired an in-depth understanding of design codes (e.g. AISC, API-RP2A WSD and LRFD) and their development; project management and coordination capabilities; have experience in jacket analysis linear and non-linear software (SACS and USFOS preferred) and have experience in topsides analysis linear software (STAAD PRO preferred).
You will be undertaking and leading structural analysis and design work, including the application of Finite Element Analysis techniques, on a wide range of ship and submarine design and in-service support projects.
