This advert relates to two Northern New business sales people and one Northern (North of Northampton to Scottish borders) channel manager. The two direct roles are each to a different market; one commercial and one public sector.
This role is Northern based (ideally Leeds-Manchester). It is new business although all lead and appointments are booked. To be considered for this role you must have experience selling IT solutions to the Higher Education market.
This is a challenging, but rewarding role, involving working with academics and support staff across the faculty and across the university. The role will involve leading the business development for the faculty in an identified region (for example the Indian Sub-continent).
Sales activity is all important in this role & you will be tasked with identifying all new business opportunities within the Public Sector with both existing & new customers, including new sales, development of existing site, projects & procurement opportunities, focusing on the Carbon Energy Fund projects & framework agreement for the Health Sector.
Working closely with the both the Sales Manager and the divisional corporate team, you will form an integral part of the business and will be responsible for all aspects of.

The successful applicant will carry out research and be a member of the Centre for the Study of Children, Families and Learning Communities. He/she will join the existing tutor team in organising and delivering the full range of activities on the DEd Psy Educational Psychology teaching programme, full-time masters and undergraduate programmes.
The role will involve technical requirement gathering from customers and performing independent research and development of the solution (a retail banking / mortgages / savings platform) to meet these requirements.
