Alfresco seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead production systems architecture development in support of our world class SaaS offering. This role will lead systems technology selection and process creation, improvement and reworking to best support Alfrescos product offerings and allow rapid innovation.
You will be a key member of the engineering software function and will be responsible for producing and certifying safety-critical, real-time embedded software for our engine control systems. These roles span all aspects of the software lifcycle from requirements capture and analysis to fault finding and diagnostics.

The role is a new business role, fully supported by marketing with the marketing team creating 80% of the new business opportunities. This role is selling the full remit of software to the services market.
This software sales role will be to sell to new name prospects in this market. The solution is a fully functioning ERP solution and is specifically designed to meet the needs of the construction space with specialist ledgers and functionality.

The required candidate will have carried out project management or senior lead roles in a number of projects, ideally having worked in a project that involved a major new infrastructure delivery.
The product is highly configurable and has all of the functionality you would associate with a tier one solution. They sell direct to end users and the order value starts at around £75k and they closed two £500k + deals last year.
