Ideally you will be a Chartered Engineer with relevant Engineering experience and qualifications, with experience covering jacket and topside analysis, design and fabrication. Specifically, you will need to have acquired an in-depth understanding of design codes (e.g. AISC, API-RP2A WSD and LRFD) and their development; project management and coordination capabilities; have experience in jacket analysis linear and non-linear software (SACS and USFOS preferred) and have experience in topsides analysis linear software (STAAD PRO preferred).
You will need to have a proven track record in pipeline design. You will be able to understand and interpret client requirements and sell our services. Holding relevant engineering qualifications or experience, it would be desirable to have knowledge of flexible pipe behaviour, pipeline operations and the installation of pipelines. In addition, excellent project management skills as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.
