Working in the Head office in London you will play a key role in evaluating the credit worthiness of potential new distributors across a network of European offices. In addition, you will work closely with the finance team to maximise the efficiency and profitability of the inventory and receivables areas.
The person will be responsible for local management and direction of all capital markets credit risk management functions within Issuer Risk. In conjunction with the Global Markets Credit Risk Global Product Manager, they will establish credit risk management policies, procedures and standards.
-Ensuring that customer needs are reflected within the overall proposition and service model and legal agreements and frameworks are relevant for the maintained propositions.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of developing quality software solutions and adapting to the evolving needs of the business. The role will initially involve working on existing C#.
There are currently two openings in the Front Office Credit Team - both for expert Java programmers. One is for an all out technical position, the other is for a more client facing role that would require much interaction with the Traders and Quants.
This position will be responsible for developing automated, routine reporting, automating existing manual reporting routines, and supporting ad-hoc requests for information and analysis by Risk Portfolio Managers and Executives in Europe.

- Manage a team of 230 staff globally - Deliver regulatory and process re-engineering programmes, e.g. CRD4 implementation, Risk and Finance alignment, implementation of Internal Rating Based Approach (IRBA)
The role involves all aspects of the software life cycle including requirement gathering from the business, analysis of the existing systems/functionality, design and implementation, all the way through to production roll out and subsequent support.
