We are looking to recruit a Head of Observatory who will have prime responsibility for ensuring that HEFCE`s newly created observatory function establishes itself as an authoritative and objective function within and beyond HEFCE.
The EDQ Section is responsible for: establishing the institutional quality assurance and enhancement framework; developing policy and procedures for the design, delivery, assessment and monitoring of academic programmes to assure standards and enhance the quality of provision; providing resources to support curriculum design and enhance teaching, learning and assessment approaches; providing support for professional development in education practice; managing the Universitys engagements with external quality assurance bodies.
