The organisational arrangement for teaching may vary but will generally be in small group settings supported with a Teaching Assistant. The Link Centre provides support for pupils who are experiencing social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The school is looking for a well qualified and enthusiastic class teacher to work with students with Sensory & Communication needs including Autism and PMLD. The right applicant will require a depth of working knowledge and experience of severe autism and associated communication and behaviour difficulties as well as experience of or a willingness to teach a sensory led curriculum for those with PMLD.
Plan, prepare and teach lessons at all levels appropriate to qualifications or experience. Plan, develop and deliver appropriate learning plans for individual students. Make use of current technology to enhance teaching and learning.
