The principal function of this position is to provide a technical lead on transport planning supporting the Halcrow directors leading projects in the rail sector. The role will involve all aspects of analytical work associated with the analysis and appraisal of rail schemes and operations. Close working with clients and partners within the rail industry will be particularly important and the need to develop and nurture long term professional relationships is an essential requirement.
The Head of ICT will need an element of Technology solutions capability as you will need to review design and architecture of the solutions being implemented in order to review to manage/lead the 3rd party implementation teams. SAP functional Architect (Logistics, Warehouse management) - with expertise in Warehouse logistics widening out into supply. This is a functional role primarily. You will be lead consultant at a household global name for a tier1 consultancy.

This new sales role will see you selling to the engineering, aerospace, defence and manufacturing sectors, in a good mix of account management and new business development. Sales are generally in the region of £50k although can reach £250k.
