Produce technical documentation for new and existing fleets, ensuring new and existing documents conform to a house style. Maintaining and updating existing maintenance manuals as defined by Engineering Change processes to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the information they contain, and their consistent 'look and feel'.
The Bid Manager is responsible for winning good business for Services. This key role leads a bid team and is responsible for the creation of high quality winning bids, developing the unique commercial proposition/business case for each opportunity and negotiating the commercial terms with the Customer.
The primary purpose of this role is to supply robust engineering inputs on each bid. The objectives of the role range from development of innovative and accurate maintenance cost data and train performance regime risk calculations to the generation of engineering hour requirements on bids.
As a Head of Advanced Engineering you will lead the Systems EMEAB Advanced Engineering (AE) team to ensure that winning proposals are delivered to our potential clients.
You will be responsible for developing "Concept & Detailed" installation designs for new and existing Rail Vehicles as specified by customer requirements.
You will develop and optimize our production processes for current and future contracts. You will proactively communicate our strategy, core values and our vision and objectives. In addition you will endeavor to satisfy the requirements of our Project based stakeholders and the core team members.
· Manage/ co-ordinate the project Quality team as the single point of contact for all quality issues on the project, this includes QMS, QA and QC responsibilities. Manages direct interface with Customer Quality representative and outside governing bodies applicable to Quality Assurances.
The role of the Project Engineer is understand key train system performance and cost drivers, managing activities from problem identification, through root cause analysis to development of a solution for implementation into the Business.
