Responsible for the support and administration of all components of the organisations SQL estate (SQL 2008, 2005 and 2000). You will be providing both production support and some development and will be working on Microsoft Databases. You will be a DBA for SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 running on Windows.
Your role as Business Systems Analyst will involve writing business specifications for internal/external clients; review of business requirements, solutions and test plans; create test scripts and data from business solutions and execute system and regression tests; improvements to QA.

The successful candidate for this position will come from a strong SQL background and will have experience working as a SQL server DBA. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of Third Party reporting tools and will ideally have had some involvement in capacity planning.
Responsible for the ongoing analysis and requirements definition of changes to IT systems and processes throughout the Company. To provide support to the business, and all IT depts throughout the IT development lifecycle when implementing system changes resulting from changed business requirements.
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience: Degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science or related subject A proven track record of leading team and projects with a C++ embedded systems environment.
